Kaya Savelson (2004) is a German-American multidisciplinary artist based in New York City and Los Angeles. Their practice is rooted in collaboration and community, often focusing on people they are close to—friends, family, and those within the queer community. They are drawn to hands-on processes, using film and the darkroom as well as alternative photography processes to create images. Through intimate imagery, they explore themes of identity, connection, and the beauty found in everyday moments.
